Yes. We can use blood test results from your GP, the NHS or a private clinic, as long as the report shows what we need.
What the report must show
- Your full name and date of birth
- The date and time the sample was taken. Testosterone changes through the day, so the time matters.
- The results themselves, as a PDF of the report or a clear photo of the printed report. Screenshots are not accepted, including from the NHS app.
Which markers we need
To stand in for our Enhanced blood test, the results need the full panel: total and free testosterone, SHBG, albumin, oestradiol, prolactin, LH, FSH, TSH and free T4, PSA, ferritin, HbA1c, a full blood count, liver and kidney function, and cholesterol and lipids. GP panels often leave out PSA, ferritin and free T4. The full list is on our Enhanced blood test page. An older result that shows low testosterone can count as your first test even if it does not have every marker.
How recent they need to be
A full panel is valid for 6 months from the sample date. A first low-testosterone result can be older; our doctors decide case by case.
How to send them
Email trt@manual.co with the report attached. Our clinical team will check it against the markers above and reply to tell you whether it can be used, which test you still need if any, and what to do next.
