I'm not able to donate blood

We understand how frustrating it can be when you've been asked to complete a blood donation but have been rejected, especially when you’re just trying to keep everything on track.

There are a couple of alternative options you can look into for arranging your venesection:

1. Private Venesection Providers 
These clinics may offer appointments sooner than NHS options:

• Eval Blood Analysis – £50 per session; availability may vary by location. 
• Phlebo – £90 per session; clinic in Bristol. You can use code MANUAL10 or VOY10 for £10 off your first appointment.
• Kratos Medical – £89 per session; clinics in Cardiff, Nottingham, and Manchester. 
• Olive Health & WellZone – £110 per session via referral; clinics in Bermondsey and Ilford. If you’d like, we can provide a referral letter and blood test summary for you to send at: contact@olivehealthandtravel.co.uk
• You may also find additional private providers online, depending on your location.

2. Through your GP or local NHS clinic
You can contact your GP practice to ask if this can be arranged via the NHS. Please note that wait times can sometimes be longer with this route.

3. At-home nurse visit
You can also arrange for a private nurse to carry out the procedure at home: Phlebotomy Services 

If your GP or hospital requires a referral or confirmation letter, we can arrange this for you. Please note this would need to be reviewed and approved by a doctor before being sent.
