If you did not start your treatment immediately after receiving your medication, this is completely fine and quite common.
Why your emails may not match your actual start date
Our system automatically schedules questionnaires and monitoring reminders based on when your medication was dispatched. At the moment, we are unable to manually change this start date in the system.
Because of this, you may receive prompts that are earlier than when you actually began treatment.
What you should do about questionnaires
Please complete any questionnaires based on when you personally started treatment, not the date shown in automated emails.
For example, if a questionnaire is intended for the 5-week point, you should wait until you have been on treatment for five weeks before completing it.
What to do if blood test reminders arrive too early
If you receive a prompt to arrange your 3-month monitoring blood test before you have reached three months of treatment, please get in touch with us.
We can remove the early notifications and ensure reminders are sent at the correct time based on when you started treatment.
Reassurance
Starting treatment later does not affect your care or results. As long as questionnaires and blood tests are completed at the appropriate time points, everything will remain clinically accurate.
If you are ever unsure whether a task applies to you yet, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
