While hair loss can be triggered by various factors, such as stress or vitamin deficiencies, male pattern baldness (MPB) – also known as androgenetic alopecia – is the leading cause, responsible for 90% of male hair loss cases.
MPB is caused by dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that weakens and shrinks hair follicles over time, ultimately preventing them from producing new hair.
Unfortunately, MPB is a condition that affects most men at some point in their lives.
