How does Tadalafil work?
Since first being introduced in 2003 Tadalafil has been helping men who are having difficulty in getting or maintaining erections, this is common and affects 1 in 5 men during their lives. Tadalafil works to relax the muscles in the penis and increase the blood flow to promote and sustain an erection.
Nicknamed 'the weekend pill' many men choose it due to effects lasting up to 36 hours, which allows for greater spontaneity in sexual activity compared to other ED medications like Sildenafil, which lasts about 4–6 hours.
For the best experience, it can help to take it on an empty stomach as this may make it work a little faster. Bear in mind it only works when you’re sexually aroused, so feeling relaxed, comfortable, and at ease can really help you get the best results.
Who can take Tadalafil?
We can prescribe Tadalafil for men over the age of 18 who experience difficulty in getting or maintaining an erection. This is especially effective for those who may not have achieved the desired results with Viagra/Sildenafil or who prefer a longer-lasting option. Tadalafil's effects can last up to 36 hours when taken as an on-demand dose (10mg or 20mg).
Remember 1 in 5 men experience some form of ED (Erectile Dysfunction) at some point during their lives, and Tadalafil has been proven safe and very effective helping men worldwide. As an oral tablet, it can be taken 30 minutes before sexual activity and offers up to 36 hours of effectiveness (with half of the drug leaving the bloodstream after about 17 hours).
